Adaptive function in SENZ WIFI, NRG-DM floor thermostats

Thanks to the Adaptive function, nVent RAYCHEM room thermostats SENZ WIFI and NRG-DM will turn on just in time to reach the desired temperature at a given time.

Why is the adaptive function in floor thermostats so helpful?

With the adaptive function, you don't have to think and test how far in advance you should start the heating in order to enjoy a warm and cozy atmosphere as soon as you get up. Starting the underfloor heating too early is associated with higher heating costs (reaching the desired temperature while you are still sleeping), while starting it too late means getting up in the cold.

Example: The set temperature on the floor thermostat is 20°C as of 8:00 a.m.

Action with Adaptation function: The thermostat will turn on well in advance to reach the desired temperature of 20°C as early as 8:00.

Operation without Adaptation function: The thermostat will only start up at 8:00 a.m. and will strive to reach the 20°C temperature.

The thermostat with Adaptation function needs a few days to "learn" the function.

In the NRG-DM room thermostat, the Adaptive (Adaptive) function is activated only in Event Mode (Time interval mode) and is activated at the factory. The Adaptive function can be deactivated in the menu of this function

The Adaptive function allows optimizing energy consumption while ensuring comfort for the user.
